for a typical Master-/Detail View its important to make the DataTable editable.
Is this on your roadmap?

May I ask again if you are thinking about expanding the DataTable that editing of cells is possible. Does a feature request exist already?
A click into a cell would select a cell and change the cell to an editable HTML-Element. A Key-TAB would jump to the next cell or to the next row if it’s the last cell. I don’t mean a row-type editing.
Changed cells should be marked as “dirty”, “changed” or so.
