First of all, I’d like to mention that I am not familiar with Qodly, and I haven’t had hands-on experience with it. However, I have been keeping up with the various updates from 4D and reading some articles on their blog. As far as I understand, the goal is to create a 4D client for the browser.
Now, my question is regarding the Qodly development timeline: is there any plan for the integration of SpreadJS (View Pro) in the short or long term? I have a need to work on iPad with 4D View Pro sheets. Currently, I achieve this using a VNC client that connects to the desktop. You can probably imagine the challenges associated with such a solution.
Before diving into a development adventure like this (considering SpreadJS is web-based, but what about database references? What about the custom methods I use on 4D?), I wanted to understand if waiting for some time might lead to 4D proposing a solution.
Thanks for any insights or information you can provide on this matter.
